  1. The Kremlin (Московский Кремль) Will be closed on 8 and 9 May 2015. The Kremlin complex includes several attractions, they are listed below. Ticket office is located in the Alexander Garden (Aleksandrovsky Sad), open 9.30-16.30 (17.00 in Summer) daily except Thursday. Tickets can be bought online http://tickets.kreml.ru/en/ (originals of the tickets to be collected at the windows 11 and 12 at the ticket office). Guided tours (English, German, French, Spanish, Italian) to be booked here +74956970349 or +74956954146 (9.30-16.30 on weekdays, lunch break 13.00-14.00). Luggage room is near the Kutafiya Tower (on the map), open daily 9-18.30, during concerts in the State Kremlin Palace 9-23. Bags larger than 30x50x70cm are not accepted.   • The Armoury Chamber (Оружейная палата) Opening hrs: daily 10-18, closed on Thursday. Ticket office 9.30-16.30 daily except Thursday. Admission at 10.00,12.00,14.30,16.30 (tickets should be bought 45 min before this time). Tickets: 700 RUB, FREE for visitors under 18. Photos and videos are forbidden. Entrance through the Borovitskaya Tower.
  • Ivan the Great Bell Tower (Колокольня Ивана Великого) Will open on 15 May 2015. Open April-October, closed on Thursday. Admission at 10.15, 11.30, 13.45, 15.00, 16.00 (tickets should be bought 45 min before this time). Only 10 people at a time can visit the museum. It’s better to give a call before setting off and ask if there are free places +74956954631. Tickets: 500 RUB (ticket includes entrance to all sites of the Kremlin, except the Armoury Chamber and the Patriarch’s Palace). Audioguides available. Children under 12 are not allowed.
  • Architectural Complex of the Cathedral Square (Ансамбль Соборной площади) Opening hrs: 10-17 except Thursday. Tickets: 500 RUB, FREE for visitors under 18. Included: Assumption Cathedral, Archangel’s Cathedral, Annunciation Cathedral, Patriarch’s Palace, Church of Laying our Lady’s Holy Robe + temporary exhibition. Not included: Ivan the Great Bell Tower, Armoury Chamber. Taking photos in cathedrals is not permitted. Admission for observing the exposition “Treasures and antiquities of the Moscow Kremlin” on the basement floor of the Annunciation Cathedral at 10.15, 11.15, 12.15, 13.15, 14.15, 15.15, 16.15.

  1. Diamond Fund (Алмазный фонд) Located in the Kremlin, shares the building with the Armoury Chamber, entrance through the Borovitskaya Tower. Opening hrs: 10-13, 14-17, closed on Thursday. Admission every 20 min. Tickets to be bought on the spot. +74956292036.
  2. Stalin’s Bunker (Бункер Сталина) Address: Sovetskaya Ul. 80 str. 1. Opening hrs: on weekdays 10-18. Closed on weekends. Only group visits are possible. Tickets: 600 RUB per person for Russians (min. 10 people in a group), for foreigners: 5000 RUB for 1-2 people, 2000 RUB per person in a group of 3-9 people, 1600 RUB per person in a group of 10 and more people.

Izmaylovo Kremlin (Кремль в Измайлово) Here you will find a church, restaurants, a registry office, a fair of decorative art, paintings, antiques, flea market, souvenirs and 4 museums: fleet, bread, vodka, Russian toys.   7. The Central Armed Forces Museum (Центральный музей Вооруженных Сил Российской Федерации) The museum is devoted to the Russian Army. Address: Sovetskoy Armii Ul. 2. Opening hrs: W-S – 10-17.   9. ‘Sadovoe Koltso’ Museum (Музей “Садовое кольцо”) On display: permanent exhibition devoted to the history of the Meshchansky district of Moscow and temporary exhibitions. Address: Prospekt Mira 14. Opening hrs: M,T,W,F,Sat – 10-18, Thu – 10-21, on 3rd Sunday every month 10-18.
  10. Museum of Contemporary History of Russia (Музей современной истории России) Exhibition is devoted to the history of Russia since the middle of XIX c. Address: Tverskaya Ul. 21.   14. The State Historical Museum (Государственный исторический музей) The museum is devoted to the history of Russia and houses temporary exhibitions from time to time. Address: the Red Square 1.   15. The Imperial Orthodox Palestinian Society History Museum (Музей истории Императорского Православного Палестинского Общества) Address: Zabelina Ul. 3 str. 2. Opening hrs: Sat 15-17.   22. The House on the Embankment (Дом на набережной)The house was built in 1931 and gave shelter to the Soviet elite. Address: Serafimovicha Ul. 2. Opening hrs: T-F – 10-18.30, Sat, S – 11-18.   24. Kutuzov’s Hut (Кутузовская изба) This is a reconstruction of the hut where the military council headed by Kutuzov decided to leave Moscow to the French. Address: Address: Kutuzovsky prospect 38 str. 2. Opening hrs: M, T, W, Sat, S – 10-18, Thu 10-21. Closed on Friday and last Thursday every month. Ticket office closes 45 min before closing time.   25. The Battle of Borodino Museum (Музей-панорама “Бородинская битва”) The Borodino was a major battle during the Patriotic War of 1812 against French invaders. Address: Kutuzovsky prospect 38. Consists of 2 buildings: one houses permanent exhibition devoted to the old Moscow and the other houses temporary exhibitions. Address: Zubovsky bulvar 2. Museum of Entrepreneurs, Patrons of the Arts and Philanthropists (Музей предпринимателей, меценатов и благотворителей) Museum is devoted to the history of entrepreneurship and philanthropy in Russia. State Museum of the Defence of Moscow (Государственный музей обороны Москвы) The museum is devoted to one of the major battles of the Great Patriotic War (WWII), the Battle of Moscow (Oct 1941-Jan 1942), which turned victorious to the USSR.   35. Kolomenskoe (Коломенское) was Tzar’s residence. Now it’s a park with lots of churches and small museums. Address: Prospekt Andropova 39.   36. Palace of the Tzar Alexey Mikhailovich in Kolomenskoe (Дворец царя Алексея Михайловича) This is a modern reconstruction of the old palace. Address: Prospekt Andropova 39 str. 69.
